Some rubbers don't have any body parts but are still alive. Rubbers without faces are usually not alive. If a rubber is cut in half and both pieces have a face they will each become a new person despite having been the same individual at one point. Some rubbers without faces are still alive including those in the Cratel Bozeo and Rupti families. It is unknown why this occurs but for these to be alive they must have one or two dots on top of their head. It seems the side the dots are closer to is the side they see from which can be seen in rubbers like Taco Bozeo Oreo Bozeo Bob Cratel and Joe Bozeo. Rubbers in the Colour family do not need these dots. If you find a rubber that seems to be half the average height it is either cut in half or part of the Colour family. Colour family is for some reason always a square rectange with one thin side like they were cut in half, however having no memory of being cut.
Male rubbers have been seen to build a nest and wait on a rooftop for a female rubber to join them. This is often a long process which is why rubbers prefer having an owner rather than being wild. The average number of eggs that rubbers have is 22 to 27. Any more or less is okay but rubbers have been taught over generations that 25 is the ideal amount. The breeding process is unknown but is said to take about six hours on average. It is also said that there is no waiting time and rubbers immediately hatch from eggs the second they are exposed to sunlight. If the eggs are not in sunlight they take around 5 to 30 minutes to hatch.
The taming process is usually easy as all you need to do is feed the rubber and take it into your house to care for it. One problem with tamed rubbers is that they may build nests in Christmas trees and isolate themselves from their owners while waiting eternally for a female to arrive. A solution is to find the rubber a partner during the breeding season from March to May to prevent this behaviour in the future. If you would like to let your rubber be wild again all you have to do is build it a nest and leave it outside. If you would like to give it a more memorable goodbye you could create a new sleeve for it to wear to attract other rubbers or provide a manual on what to do in case it has been home-raised or has forgotten how to survive in the wild.
Rubbers are usually about 4 cm tall 2 cm wide and 1 cm thick depending on the type. Some are 2 cm tall 2 cm wide and 1 cm thick like the cut in half or unique family ones. Most rubbers are white but they can be any colour depending on their type or their owner's choice.
The Bozeo family mainly contains tall rubbers with the only different being patterns, sleeves and height. The Bozeo family was mainly popularised because of one of it's members 'Joe Bozeo' who saved Rubber City in a war.
The Colour family has rubbers who are less tall about the size as if they were cut in half. People in the Colour family are always a unique colour except if they're white because white is a reoccuring colour in the Colour family.
The Colzo family is a family that appeared later in the timeline and is like the Colour Family but a little taller and they have a horizontal line in the middle. The Colzo family started with a rubber named Crummy and it expanded.
The Cratel family mainly contains tall rubbers with the only different being patterns, sleeves and height. The Cratel family is not different to the Bozeo family other than the name of the family. The Cratel family was mainly popularised because of one of it's members 'Bob Cratel'.
The Rupti family does not have a specific look and can be any size other than the Colour family height. The Rupti family is often what factory or unknown rubbers are put into if they do not fit the description of other familys.
